Product description

PBT is very important secondary coating materials for Optical Fiber, It has excellent performance in mechanical /thermal /hydrolytic / chemical resistance properties and easy to be mechanical processed.

Properties  Advantages  Description
Mechanical properties High stability Small shrinkage scale, small volumechanging in using, good stability in forming.
High mechanical strength Good modulus, good extension performance,high tensile strength, the lateral pressure of loosetube is higher than requirement of standard .
Thermal properties High distortion temperature Whether in the case of high load or low load ,the performance of distortion is excellent
Hydrolytic properties Anti-hydrolysis High performance of anti-hydrolysis makeoptical cable more longer life than requirement of standard.
Chemical properties Chemical resistance PBT can tolerate most of polarity chemical reagentat room temperature. And PBT is not compatible withfilling gel. at high temperatures and susceptible to erosion.

Storage and transport     

Package: Two package ways, : 1. It is packed 900/1000KG per bag with the inner lining of aluminum foil material, outer lining of PE woven material. 2. It is packed 25KG per bag with inner lining of aluminum foil material , outer lining of kraft paper material.

Transportation: It should not be exposed to get wet or humidity during transportation, and keep it dry, clean, complete and pollution-free. Storage: It is stored in a clean, cool, dry and ventilated warehouse away from the source of fire. If the product is found to be damped in rainy reason or with high moisture in the air, It can be used one hour later after it is dried at the temperature of 120℃ .

Note: 1.The product should be dried and sealed package. It is recommended to use hot air to avoid moisture before using. temperature controlled within (80~90)℃;

 

Scientific and technological innovation achievements

At present, Jiangyin factory has 8 invention patents for PBT and modified polypropylene loose bushings, 38 utility model patents, and participated in the formulation of PBT group standards.
Obtained three products of high – tech product certification.
In 2017, it established a research and development center for polymer materials in cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
In October 2018, it was recognized as a high-tech enterprise by Jiangsu Province.
Increase the development of new products, and form a close material research and development cooperation mechanism with well-known cable companies at home and abroad
